Just found some old shot of the first corpse I ever made ( it was last year ), thought it was interresting to share my first effort in the complex art of fake corpses...... What you can see is actually a mumy corpse based on the "world famous" comics "Tintin et les 7 boules de crystal". My friend Steve Jama and I made the head ( not the helmet which was actually just carved into foam ). It was supposed to be donated to the "Tintin museum" in belgium, but they refused it, pretendig it would be too scary for children ( actually, it was surely because of the very poor quality of our rascarcapac !!!). I agree that final result is not the best mumy ever seen, but If you're considering the very short time we spent on this one and the price it cost to make ( no more than 40 euros for the all body ) it's not so bad.....if you look at it in a dark room !

Very nice. "Art of fake Corpses". If only my job description was that cool.

Nice! My sister read that comic to me when I was a little kid and it scared the living crap out of me... And this piece does justice Herge's ghastly creation. I can easily imagine him creeping into people's rooms, tossing huge glass spheres around ;D
